With over 13 years in the industry, MaKela brings soul, sophistication, and structure to life’s most meaningful celebrations. She spent the first chapter of her career producing events within luxury venues, including one of the world’s top Relais & Châteaux luxury hotels and a Forbes triple five star property—an experience that shaped her deep understanding of true hospitality, operational excellence, and how each decision impacts the overall guest experience. That foundation continues to inform the way she leads today: holistically, collaboratively, and with intention.
Most recently, MaKela served as Creative Director and Lead Associate Planner + Designer at a premier wedding and event firm based in Napa Valley, where she specialized in multi-day high-end, destination-focused celebrations. Her role allowed her to blend creative direction with deep logistical strategy—crafting events that felt both elevated and deeply personal. Her calm leadership, refined eye, and intuitive approach have made her a trusted partner to clients seeking something truly meaningful.

She has successfully run her own business and, for the past four years, led back-end operations for a high-net-worth enterprise, ensuring efficiency, discretion, and elevated service behind the scenes.
At Andre Makena, Amanda oversees the smooth execution of day-to-day business operations—from internal systems and logistics to the brand’s strategic development and visibility. While she won’t be present on event days, her touch is woven throughout the client experience. From behind the scenes, she also plays a thoughtful role in shaping our social presence, ensuring it reflects the heart of the brand. Known for her creative thinking and operational precision, Amanda is full of fresh ideas to help craft tangible, meaningful moments for both our team and our clientele.
